Trader Joe’s Run!

Yes, I promise you’ll get some posts from Ireland soon. Patience, my friends. I just need more time to actually get a decent post out. However, do my last few posts count as being  more concise? 😉

Tomorrow, we are headed out for a Trader Joe’s run. That may sound funny having many Trader Joe’s stores throughout the Twin Cities. However, weeknight plans, workouts and dinners, together with rush hours and TJ’s lack of parking at most locations, it’s virtually impossible to go during the week. Thus, it’s a planned event for us.

It’s been a while since we’ve been to Trader Joe’s. Today I’d like to know what your favorite Trader Joe’s products are so that we can give them a try.

Here are a few of mine:

  • Natural Peanut Butter
  • Jasmine Rice (in frozen pouches when I’m in a pinch)
  • Pork Potstickers
  • Chana Masala
  • Garlic Naan
  • Chocolate covered edamame
  • Garlic Paste

I know there is more, but I just can’t think of them all right now. Jet lag, perhaps?

So what are your must-haves when you stop at TJ’s?

  1. TJ staples for me are the Tuscan Bread, Raw Almonds, Olive Oil, Asiago Cheese with Rosemary and Olive Oil, the Parmesan (or maybe called tuscan) with black pepper cheese, the little rice crackers in a bag, frozen green beans, and the marinara sauce which is low in fat and calories.

  2. My husband LOVES their hummus, the olive one and the garlic one. And he has to have a bag of their pita chips to go with it! LOL. I love the Mango Black tea, I just tried some and its good! I like their cuban black beans, they go great in fijita bowls along with their frozen tri colored peppers!
