SBS: Goodies Box – December 2012

Standard

This Subscription Box Saturday, let’s talk about the Goodies I received right around Christmas. This little box was a $7 gift (delivered) to myself!

The theme:

Goodies-n&N

The premise: “When it comes to our food choices it’s not always a clear cut answer. Sure, we try to be healthy, but sometimes we just have to let loose and indulge.”

World Table Chocolate Mint Cookie Thins These were pretty darn good. I had a couple and let my husband finish these over the next few days. I don’t understand why these are called World Table and claim that they have products from around the world. This one just reads, “A Taste of Europe”. The address on the box is a Wal-Mart Bentonville, AR address. Hmm…

Naturals Garden Veggie Chips – Potato, Tomato & Spinach – These were a little misleading. They are just chips, not made of veggies… meaning, the veggies aren’t crinkle cut. The veggies are used as a flavoring. They are not Veggie Chips, but Veggie-flavored chips. And they weren’t bad, but they were still chips.

Rocky Mountain Popcorn – Cinnamon Sugar – Wow. I know this flavor. Yeah… Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal perhaps? But in a popcorn. Gotta love that.

Bare Fruit Cinnamon Apple Chips – I was really surprised by how much I liked these! And at 50 calories a bag, I wished the package was double the size. They’d make a great on-the-go snack, especially for traveling!

Effie’s Homemade Oatcakes – While these taste good, I wouldn’t run out and get them. They just aren’t my style. I need a little chocolate. 😉 But then again, they’d be great with tea, I think!

Sun Cups

  • Dark Chocolate Mint  – I’ll take dark chocolate and mint any day.
  • Sunflower Butter Milk Chocolate – Good, but they still can’t beat out your regular Reese’s. You can definitely tell they are sunflower and not peanut butter. However, the sunflower butter is a great alternative for those with peanut allergies.

What’s your favorite indulgent snack?

Ya know, the one you save up your calories or points for during the day so that you can eat it in moderation?

Cheers~
Carrie
