Sophie and Shamrock became fast friends…
Shamrock was pretty nervous around Rob at first. Men scare him, especially men in hats. It took at least a few months for Sham to warm up to Rob. Now they are buds. But we still think Sophie will always be Sham’s favorite. 😉 They play all the time! He’s been the perfect addition to our family.
There are so many pets waiting to be rescued from shelters, just like those where we found Shamrock and Sophie. Please consider adoption when finding your next pet.

So cute! I’ve finally convinced my husband that we need to get another dog – we are definitely going the rescue route – so many dogs looking for forever homes!

How awesome. I feel horrible because I don’t know the day I got my rescue girl. Next time I’ll have to pay better attention.
I only remember because it was during March Madness and my husband’s alma mater was in the tournament. And I had it noted on my blog. Otherwise, I don’t remember Sophie’s date, just that it was early 2005. So much easier in this ultra-digital age! 😉
