I am no longer doing in-home wine tastings, but I had a wonderful ride for ten years! Please visit TravelingVineyard.com to locate a consultant in your area. Cheers~

~

Once upon a time, I attended a Traveling Vineyard® Wine Tasting in a friend’s home and before the consultant even started, I told her that I wanted to host! I loved wine and the concept was so fun and exciting that I just couldn’t wait!  In the meantime, she invited me to a Taste of the Business, where I instantly signed up to be a Consultant.  They showed me that I didn’t have to know anything about wine… just have the passion for it

What did I have to lose?!   I joined knowing that I would learn about wine, get discounts on wine and accessories, and maybe earn a little bit of extra spending money.  What I didn’t know was that in addition to these perks, I would end up taking some fabulous trips (i.e. Sonoma, Puerto Vallarta Tuscany, and Napa) and meeting so many life-long friends along the way! (You know who you are.)

Carrie and Rob – Tuscany 2008

Rob even proposed to me in beautiful Tuscany and we loved it so much that we went back to Italy for our Honeymoon.

So what is The Traveling Vineyard®, you ask? It’s the opportunity to learn about and taste boutique wines from around the world in a relaxed, non-intimidating environment: your home. Better yet, I bring the wine and glasses! Yes, it’s an in-home party. (Think Tupperware or Pampered Chef, but with wine instead.) Wine?! A no-brainer, right?

I Bring Wine & Glasses!

Hosts for a Traveling Vineyard® In-Home Wine Tasting, can expect to have an experience that is as much fun as it is educational. The wine that it is sampled is guaranteed to be of the highest quality and from little boutique wineries around the world. (You can’t find them in stores and you’re helping out the little guy!)

(*Legally, I cannot combine your Wine Tasting with your jewelry show, adult-toy party, customer appreciation night or any other event. So please, don’t ask! It also must take place in a private home.)

I love bringing wine into people’s homes and giving them a fun experience that is not intimidating! When I attended my first in-home Wine Tasting in 2003, I thought:

“Wow! I love wine and would love to learn more about it. What do I have to lose?! If I don’t like it, I can quit.”

And guess what? Eight years later, I’m still here!

Oh… and if you’d like more information about this fun, flexible “job”, click here.

Cheers~
Carrie
